Arusha To Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at the hotel or pick up at the airport, depart for Tarangire, Tanzania's third-largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs and up to six thousand elephants. Enjoy a game drive with a picnic lunch. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at your accommodation.
Tarangire To Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, head to the fertile highlands where the Iraqw people grow wheat, coffee, and corn. As you pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, catch a glimpse of the stunning Ngorongoro Crater. On your way to Serengeti National Park, enjoy a picnic lunch. Once in Serengeti, explore its vast landscapes, including grassy plains, swamps, lakes, and mountains, during an exciting game drive. Finally, relax and have dinner at your accommodation for an overnight stay.
Serengeti National Park To Ngorongoro Crater
Kick off your day with a hearty breakfast at your accommodation. Dive into a captivating morning to midday game drive in the vast Serengeti, where you'll witness the incredible diversity of wildlife roaming freely across the plains. As the sun rises higher, embark on a journey to the renowned Ngorongoro Crater in the afternoon. Arriving there, you will descend into the famous Ngorongoro Crater which is one of the most beautiful havens for wildlife in the world. The crater has a unique ecosystem that inhabits more than 25,000 resident animals. It is the best place to see leopard, lion, cheetah, buffalo, elephant, black rhino, zebra, hippo, wildebeest and hyena. Later you will ascend from the crater and head to Karatu to your accommodation for dinner and your overnight stay.
Karatu To Lake Manyara National Park To Arusha
After breakfast, you will drive to your final destination on this epic safari, Lake Manyara National Park. This is a relatively small but diverse park, 120km west of Arusha. The park’s namesake is a shallow, salt lake. It covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons and is home to thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species. On your exploration of the park, you will see monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, elephants and with some luck, lions lounging in the trees. The park is known for its various landscapes; not only open grassy plains but also primate-filled woodlands and baobab-dotted cliffs. After extensive game drives through the park, you will head back to Arusha to catch your flight to your next destination as per your schedule. End of tour (See Getting There for more details) - End of tour (See Getting There for more details): Additional accommodation can be arranged for an extra cost. You'll be dropped off at the airport.
